Brendan Sartin, City Attorney and Kelly Scouten, City Clerk were also in attendance.

The meeting was opened with prayer by Brendan Sartin.

APPROVAL OF CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS:
All items under this heading will be considered to be approved with one motion and one vote. If further
discussion is desired on any item, it will automatically be removed from the consent agenda and will be

Upon motion by Alderman Foy, seconded by Alderman McHenry the following items were approved

paramedic course and has signed the three year paramedic agreement for Pearl Fire

following members of the Board of Alderman voted in favor of the Motion which became
the Order of the Board:
Motion was made by Alderman Foy and seconded by Alderman Gill to enter Executive Session to
discuss personnel matters in the Police Department and Senior Services; The following members of the

Motion was made by Alderman Gill and seconded by Alderman Steverson to adjourn the meeting in
honor of Mr. Charles Berg and Mrs. Rebecca "Becky" Readman; The following members of the Board
of Alderman voted in favor of the Motion which became the Order of the Board:

19. Order to adopt a Resolution accepting the bid of Hemphill Construction Co., Inc., for
Southeast Sanitary Sewer Improvements, finding that the conforming bid of Hemphill
Construction Co., Inc., is the lowest and best bid in the amount of $2,655,125.00, and that
the contract should be and hereby is awarded to Hemphill Construction Co., Inc., and to
authorize Mayor Windham to sign all related documents.
