Approval of $9,000 final 2021-2022 Season Contribution to the Pearl Community Theater for their summer show (budgeted item). 8. Utility Services Company Wal Mart Tank Maint. $23,099.056 9. Approval of Pickering Invoice for $66,088.69 for June, 2022 relating to Pearl Richland Intermodal Connector Bridge Project. 80% Reimbursable by MDOT; 20% Reimbursable by Senate Bill funds. 10. Order to set and continue public hearing for August 2, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. to consider request by Lois Hardy and Hardy Applicants to Rezone portions of Parcels G09G-17-10, G09H-23-10, and G09H-30 from R-E (Residential Estates) to C-2 (General Commercial). 11. Order to set and continue public hearing for August 2, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. to consider Amending the Official Zoning Map, the Official Zoning Language, Official Land Use Plan and the Floodplain Ordinance. Order to approve and authorize payment to Clear River Construction Co., Inc., in the amount of $75,513.47 for the Parks & Recreation Construction Project Phase II: City Park Improvements. (Estimate #21) 13. Order to approve and authorize payment to Clear River Construction Co., Inc., in the amount of $13,182.73, for the Parks & Recreation Construction Project Phase III: Soccer Concessions. (Estimate #3) 14. Order to approve the Memorandum of Agreement between the MS Dept. of Transportation ("MDOT") and City of Pearl for the overlay projects on two sections of Old Brandon Rd., Foxhall Rd., Cross Park Dr. and Weems St. and to authorize Mayor Windham to sign the same. 15. Order to approve the Memorandum of Agreement between the MS Dept. of Transportation ("MDOT") and City of Pearl for the signal upgrades at U.S. 80 and U.S. 49/MS 468 and Pearson Rd at Phillips Lane and to authorize Mayor Windham to sign the same. 16. Order to approve and authorize the purchase of 5.0 acres from Joseph Loomis and Allison Loomis for the detention pond project which is a proper municipal purpose to alleviate potential flooding at the purchase price of $12,500.00 per acre and said purchase price is commensurate with the fair market value and to authorize Mayor Windham to execute any and all necessary documents associated therein. 17. Order to approve the Easement and Right of Way Agreement between the City of Pearl and Gulf South Pipeline Company, LLC, and to authorize Mayor Windham to sign all related documents. 18. Order to approve and authorize the police officers identified on the proposed part-time work schedule for August, 2022, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, the use of the official Pearl Police Department uniform and official Pearl Police Department duty weapon and finding that the proposed employment is not likely to bring disrepute to the City of Pearl, or the Pearl Police Department, the officers at issue, or law enforcement generally, and that the use of the official uniform and weapon in the discharge of the officer’s private security endeavor promotes the public interest of the City of Pearl. 19. Order to adopt a Resolution to adjudicate the cost of demoing and cleaning the property at 4144 Bright Street and assess the cost against the property. 20. Order to approve Facilities Use Agreements for Bridge Builders Leadership Initiative, Pearl Boxing Club, Pearl Public School District and Hinds Community College. 21. Promote Captain Jimmy Jones to Deputy Chief of Fleet to replace Mike Fivecoat(Retired). 22. Order to approve the professional service agreement for Neel-Schaffer for the installation of the new street lights on 80. 23. Approve FMLA for Christa Billings. Order to approve and authorize payment to PeopleReady in the amount of $25,836.19, for temporary labor. 26. Order to approve and authorize the striping of various streets by Traffic Control Products, in the amount of $44,050.00. (quotes obtained) 27. Order to approve and authorize payment to Pickering Firm, Inc., in the amount of $108,745.00, for the Parks & Rec. Construction Project. PUBLIC HEARINGS 21-19-11 Determine whether or not the owners and those certain parcels of real property which are listed herein, are in such a condition or state as to be unsightly and un-kept or otherwise a menace to the public health and safety of the community, and therefore, prohibited, pursuant to Chapter 24 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Pearl, Mississippi and Section 21-19-11 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, as Amended: 28. George T. Roland and located at 236 Knight Rd, Pearl, Rankin County, Mississippi 39208. 29. Amy Wilson Johnson and Roosevelt Johnson, Jr., and located at 171 Knight Rd, Pearl, Rankin County, Mississippi 39208.
