Approval/corrections of Minutes of the Regular Meeting, September 20, 2022. 2. Approval of the claims docket for September 20, 2022 to October 4, 2022. 3. Approval of garbage exemption applications and renewals. 4. Approval of Application(s) 5. Approval of authorization to travel 6. Approval of wage increases. 7. Approval of Supplemental Agreement #2 for Pearl-Richland Intermodal Connector. Project requires warning lights added to the top of barricades in order to draw more attention to the road closures for drivers. Cost: $6,848.58 8. Order to approve and authorize the purchase of (5) 1 Ton Chlorine Cylinders from Harcros Chemicals in the amount of $9,900.00. (quotes obtained) 9. Approval of August 2022 Contractor’s Estimate #8 from Hemphill Construction Company for $37,125.83 on Pearl-Richland Intermodal Connector Road Realignment Project. 80% reimbursed by MDOT and 20% by Senate Bill funding. 10. Approval of August 2022 Contractor’s Estimate #4 from T. L. Wallace Construction Company for $302,695.05 on Pearl-Richland Intermodal Connector Bridge Project. 80% reimbursed by MDOT and 20% reimbursed by Senate Bill funding. 11. Request for Approval for 20 additional Laserfiche Participant Licenses, including pro-rated maintenance and licenses configuration totaling $9,256.00 12. Order to approve and authorize the up-fitting of 4 new Dodge Chargers by Weathersby Electronics in the amount of $8330.70. Order to approve the Independent Contractor Professional Services Agreement by and between, the City of Pearl and Michael Wimberly for real estate services and to authorize Mayor Windham to sign all related documents. 14. Order to approve the application for SLFRF grant funds for the Main Street program and to authorize Mayor Windham to sign all related documents. 15. Order to adopt the 2022-2023 Holiday Schedule for the City of Pearl, as recommended by the City Clerk. 16. Order to adopt a Resolution to adjudicate the cost of cutting the grass at 120 Harle Circle on August 30, 2022 and assess the cost to the property. 17. Order to adopt a Resolution to adjudicate the cost of cutting the grass at 3716 Old Brandon Road on August 30, 2022 and assess the cost to the property. 18. Order to set public hearing for October 18, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. to determine whether or not that certain parcel of real property owned by William Dewayne and Tanzania Moore, and located at 234 Baugh Street, Pearl, Rankin County, Mississippi 39208, is in such a condition or state as to be unsightly and unkept or otherwise a menace to the public health and safety of the community, and therefore, prohibited, pursuant to Chapter 24 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Pearl, Mississippi and Section 21-19-11 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, as Amended. 19. Order to set public hearing for October 18, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. to determine whether or not that certain parcel of real property owned by Jack and Evelyn M. Dennis and located at 210 Pemberton Drive, Pearl, Rankin County, Mississippi 39208, is in such a condition or state as to be unsightly and unkept or otherwise a menace to the public health and safety of the community, and therefore, prohibited, pursuant to Chapter 24 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Pearl, Mississippi and Section 21-19-11 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, as Amended. 20. Order to set public hearing for October 18, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. to determine whether or not that certain parcel of real property owned by Curtis R. Cutrer Jr. and located at 360 Mary Ann Drive, Pearl, Rankin County, Mississippi 39208, is in such a condition or state as to be unsightly and unkept or otherwise a menace to the public health and safety of the community, and therefore, prohibited, pursuant to Chapter 24 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Pearl, Mississippi and Section 21-19-11 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, as Amended. 21. Order to approve and authorize the purchase of an outdoor commercial grade Christmas Tree from Jubilee Decor in the amount of $13,151.00. The tree is 21’ tall with topper and 10’ wide at base. (quotes obtained) 22. Order to approve and authorize the merger of fund 001 and 002 and to transfer $5,000,000.00, from cash 001 to cash 002. PUBLIC HEARINGS 21-19-11 Determine whether or not the owners and those certain parcels of real property which are listed herein, are in such a condition or state as to be unsightly and un-kept or otherwise a menace to the public health and safety of the community, and therefore, prohibited, pursuant to Chapter 24 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Pearl, Mississippi and Section 21-19-11 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, as Amended: 24. Charlene McLaurin and Patrick D. Parker, and located at 207 Johnson Avenue, Pearl, Rankin County, Mississippi 39208. 25. John Aron Hunter, and located at 213 Pine Park Drive, Pearl, Rankin County, Mississippi 39208. GENERAL BUSINESS 1. Consider a Motion to cancel the 2nd Board Meeting in November and December, 2022.
