To promote business, commerce, and appropriate industry within the Redevelopment District, approval of tax exemption applications according to City of Pearl Ordinance 2021-01, partially exempting from municipal ad valorem taxes, county ad valorem taxes (maximum allowed by law), excluding ad valorem taxes for school district purposes: PPIN 11247 and 11250 for Trustmark National Bank; PPIN 11417 and 11413 for Crown Homes of Mississippi; and PPIN 15168 for Ray Enterprises, LLC for a period of up to seven (7) years for improvements to existing structures. approve. PUBLIC HEARINGS 21-19-11 Determine whether or not the owners and those certain parcels of real property which are listed herein, are in such a condition or state as to be unsightly and un-kept or otherwise a menace to the public health and safety of the community, and therefore, prohibited, pursuant to Chapter 24 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Pearl, Mississippi and Section 21-19-11 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, as Amended: 29. Motion was made by Alderman Foy and seconded by Alderman Williams to continue this matter to September 5, 2023.
