Approval of May 2023 Contractor’s Estimate #11 from T. L. Wallace Construction for $313,764.32 on the Pearl-Richland Intermodal Connector Project. (100% funded) approve. 19. Order to approve and authorize the following items to be placed in surplus from Shepherd Football Field. Pressbox, Concession stand/restroom building and everything included within the building, Goal Posts, Scoreboard, Smaller set of larger bleachers on home side, Lights and light poles, All small bleachers on visitor side approve. 20. Approve June Pay App #9 from Hemphill Construction Company for $144,389.74 on SE Sanitary Sewer Phase I project. (ARPA/MCWI funding) approve. 21. Approval of Change Order #3 from Hemphill Construction Company for an additional $84,779.15 and an additional 159 calendar days on SE Sanitary Sewer Phase I. approve. 22. Order to adopt a Resolution to adjudicate the cost of cutting the grass at the property at 3410 Old Brandon Road and assess the cost to the property. approve. 23. Repair for PD 67 in the amount of 5,516.20. Quotes obtained approve. 24. Order to adopt a Resolution finding that the firearms identified on the attached list, submitted by the Police Department, which is incorporated herein by reference, as surplus, and to approve the disposal and/or sale of the items by way of public auction, as required by law. approve. 25. To promote business, commerce, and appropriate industry within the Redevelopment District, approval of tax exemption applications according to City of Pearl Ordinance 2021-01, partially exempting from municipal ad valorem taxes, county ad valorem taxes (maximum allowed by law), excluding ad valorem taxes for school district purposes: PPIN 11247 and 11250 for Trustmark National Bank; PPIN 11417 and 11413 for Crown Homes of Mississippi; and PPIN 15168 for Ray Enterprises, LLC for a period of up to seven (7) years for improvements to existing structures. approve. PUBLIC HEARINGS 21-19-11 Determine whether or not the owners and those certain parcels of real property which are listed herein, are in such a condition or state as to be unsightly and un-kept or otherwise a menace to the public health and safety of the community, and therefore, prohibited, pursuant to Chapter 24 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Pearl, Mississippi and Section 21-19-11 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, as Amended: 29. Ruby Cannon and located at 239 Reynolds Street, Pearl, Rankin County, Mississippi 39208. Motion was made by Alderman Foy and seconded by Alderman Williams to continue this matter to September 5, 2023. The following members of the Board of Alderman to the Mayor and Board of Aldermen, due back on 9/5/2023voted in favor of the Motion which became the Order of the Board: Aye: Alderman Williams, Alderman Dennis, Alderman Steverson, Alderman Foy, Alderman Gill, and Alderman Knight GENERAL BUSINESS 1. Motion was made by Alderman Foy and seconded by Alderman Gill to accept the Fiscal Year 2022 Audit by Angela T. Herzog,Grantham Poole.
