Order to accept the Pearl Futbol Club proposal submitted by Rankin Soccer Club for skills sessions, and to approve a donation from the city in the amount of $3400.00 to the Pearl Futbol Club for said sessions for the 2023 Fall Season. approve. 14. Request to purchase a used 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe in the a mount of $58,900 from the Pearl Police Seizure Fund approve. 15. Purchase of E/Z Rider K-9 vehicle kennel and Cool Guard Plus M910 K9 hot-dog system $6,245.00 approve. 16. Order to approve and authorize the police officers identified on the proposed part-time work schedule for September 2023, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, the use of the official Pearl Police Department uniform and official Pearl Police Department duty weapon and finding that the proposed employment is not likely to bring disrepute to the City of Pearl, or the Pearl Police Department, the officers at issue, or law enforcement generally, and that the use of the official uniform and weapon in the discharge of the officer’s private security endeavor promotes the public interest of the City of Pearl. approve. Order to adopt a Resolution to adjudicate the cost of cutting the grass at the property at 2632 Old Brandon Road and assess the cost to the property. approve. 19. Order to approve July Contractor’s Estimate #13 from T. L. Wallace Construction for $672,012.13 on the Pearl-Richland Intermodal Connector project. approve. Public hearing to determine whether or not a Conditional Use Permit to allow Journey Church MS Inc. to operate a church at 339 Cross Park Drive, Pearl, MS 39208. Motion was made by Alderman Foy and seconded by Alderman Williams to approve the request for a conditional use permit by Journey Church MS to operate a church at 339 Cross Park Drive, Pearl, MS 39208. The following members of the Board of Alderman voted in favor of the Motion which became the Order of the Board: Aye: Alderman McHenry, Alderman Williams, Alderman Dennis, Alderman Steverson, Alderman Foy, Alderman Gill, and Alderman Knight PUBLIC HEARINGS 21-19-11 Determine whether or not the owners and those certain parcels of real property which are listed herein, are in such a condition or state as to be unsightly and un-kept or otherwise a menace to the public health and safety of the community, and therefore, prohibited, pursuant to Chapter 24 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Pearl, Mississippi and Section 21-19-11 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, as Amended: 2. Ruby Cannon and located at 239 Reynolds Street, Pearl, Rankin County, Mississippi 39208. Motion was made by Alderman Foy and seconded by Alderman Knight to continue the matter to November 7, 2023. The following members of the Board of Alderman to the Mayor and Board of Aldermen, due back on 11/7/2023voted in favor of the Motion which became the Order of the Board: Aye: Alderman McHenry, Alderman Williams, Alderman Dennis, Alderman Steverson, Alderman Foy, Alderman Gill, and Alderman Knight 3. Robert E. Stribling, David K. Stribling, and Barbara S. White and located at 3733 Old Brandon Road, Pearl, Rankin County, Mississippi 39208. Motion was made by Alderman Gill and seconded by Alderman Knight to continue the matter to November 7, 2023.
