Trustee Hill-Ries Trustee Kamal Eldahry commended Bangkok City of their setup for pickup orders. Trustee Potocki thanked employees for their continued work under these circumstances. He also thanked DeCicco & Sons for their safety conscious operation, local business and a resident for supplying our first responders for personal protective equipment. Trustee Spira-Cohen noted the Pedestrian Safety & Traffic Calming Committee is not meeting. Village Administrator’s Report: Village Administrator Small had nothing to report. Mayor’s Report Mayor Mullen noted the Village’s priorities include the health and safety of residents and workers and the maintenance of essential services. He also thanked Pelham House for getting started on some of the things needed so when the time comes, the process will be speedier. Board of Trustees Regular Meeting Tuesday, March 24, 2020 Item # 7 – Public Comments Westchester County Executive, George Latimer and Assistant Director of Intergovernmental Relations, Ellen Hendricks gave an update on COVID-19. Board of Trustees Regular Meeting Tuesday, March 24, 2020 Non-Recurring Items Item # 8 – Calling for a Public Hearing on the Fiscal Year 2020-21 Tentative Budget Resolution Calling for a Public Hearing on the Fiscal Year 2020-21 Tentative Budget Whereas, pursuant to New York State Village Law §5-508 (3), a public hearing must be held on the Fiscal Year 2020-21 Tentative Budget on or before the fifteenth day of April, with notice of such public hearing published in the official newspaper. Now, therefore, be it resolved, that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Pelham herein schedules a public hearing for Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at 7:30 PM or shortly thereafter, at Village Hall, 195 Sparks Avenue, to receive comments on the Fiscal Year 2020-21 Tentative Budget filed on March 20, 2020; and Be it further resolved, that the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of said public hearing. Board of Trustees Regular Meeting Tuesday, March 24, 2020 Recurring Items Item # 10 - Authorizing the Accounts Payable Mayor Mullen audited the Accounts Payable. Resolution Authorizing the Accounts Payable Whereas, pursuant to §5-524 of the New York State Village Law, the Board of Trustees shall audit all claims against the Village. Now, therefore, be it resolved, that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Pelham after audit of the following vouchers, authorizes payment for services rendered and materials received, for the following items that have been submitted to the Treasurer's Office for payment and authorized by the Village Administrator and Assistant Village Administrator / Village Treasurer: Fund Name: Amount General Fund $45,214.23 Capital Projects Fund $0.00 Trust and Agency Fund $2,350.00 TE Private Purpose Trust Fund $0.00 Grand Total $47,564.23 Be it further resolved, that this Board hereby approves payment of the above-mentioned claims and authorizes payment thereof.
