City of Petersburg Community Development Block Grant Advisory Board November Meeting Notes November 20, 2024 at Petersburg Library  Meeting called to order at 6:17pm by Chair Kofi Adih.  Advisory Board Members (AB) in attendance: Kofi Adih Sonja Holt-Cartwright, Shabaka Moore, Leonard Curry, Maisha Henry. CDBG Admin Jennifer Murphy-James  A quorum was determined and a moment of silence observed.  The October 16, 2024, meeting minutes were accepted and seconded, with no amendments or corrections. Update from CDBG Administrator - Jennifer Murphy-James The City Manager met with the CDBG Administrator and the PCD Director to share insight and to offer guidance regarding required follow-up for the remaining COVID funds. Report from the Chairman - Kofi Adih  No updates Unfinished Business  Reviewed CDBG Timeline for 2024-25 Program Year - o December meeting will be an Application Workshop, informing the public of the process and updates, and explaining the CDBG 5 Year Consolidated Plan. Shabaka Moore and Leonard Curry will lead the meeting. o Changes to be made to the draft CDBG Timeline for 2024_2025: The May advisory board meeting will be a review of the IDIS system to determine which subrecipients have drawn down their funds. o The July CDBG meeting will be an IDIS program review and IDIS training for 2025_2026 subrecipients. New Business  A review of the Citizen Participation Plan will be tabled until the December meeting. Meeting Adjourned at 6:55 PM
