SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL GEORGE FINA MUNICIPAL BUILDING - 314 EDMOND ROAD NORTHWEST Monday, May 10, 2021 at 5:30 PM MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Kurt Mayabb, Mayor Pro Tem Kevan Blasdel, Councilman Austin Redus, Councilman Jonathon Hisey, ABSENT: Councilman Ron Cardwell and Councilman Melissa Ashford STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Jason Orr, City Clerk Jennifer Smith, City Engineer Mary Elizabeth Moch, Community Development Director Scott Garnand, and City Attorney Michael Segler. 1. CALL TO ORDER - Mayor Kurt Mayabb called the meeting to order at 5:31pm 2. ROLL CALL - City Clerk Jennifer Smith called roll and a quorum was present 3. BUSINESS ITEMS – a) Discussion, consideration and possible action authorizing the City Manager to purchase up to 3,000 tons of asphalt millings at lowest, responsible price. Mayor Pro Tem Kevan Blasdel made a motion to go with the bid from Allen Shell. Councilman Jonathon Hisey seconded the motion. VOTE WAS: AYE: Mayor Pro Tem Kevan Blasdel, Councilman Austin Redus, and Councilman Jonathon Hisey NAY: None b) BUDGET WORKSHOP--Discussion, consideration and possible action on the proposed budget for FY21-22 A motion was not made on business item b. 4.
