MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE MAYOR’S YOUTH ADVISORY COMMITTEE HELD ON THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 2022 IN THE PINETOP-LAKESIDE TOWN HALL LOCATED 325 W. WHITE MOUNTAIN BLVD., LAKESIDE, AZ 85929 A. Call to Order: Chairman Eddy called the meeting to order at 7:07 a.m. Pledge of Allegiance: Chairman Eddy led the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll Call: The following members were present: Morgan Eddy Vice Chairman Grace Smithson Treasurer Brooke Horne Secretary Sienna Grzelak Historian Rain Dimaliwat Member Jesse Stroup Member Joe Grzelak Member River Rigg Member Also present: Stephanie Irwin Mayor Keith Johnson Town Manager Kristi Salskov Town Clerk B. Consent Agenda: B.1 Minutes of MYAC meeting held on October 13, 2022. Member Smithson moved to approve the following minutes: Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committee Regular Meeting October 13, 2022. The motion was seconded my Member River Rigg and carried unanimously with a 8-0 vote. C. New Business: C.1 Review and Discussion Regarding Town Council Meeting Preperation. MYAC members received scripts created by Kristi Salslov for town council meeting on November 17, 2022. MYAC members reviewed the script with guidance from Mayor Irwin, Ms. Salskov, and Mr. Johnson.  C.2 Review and Discussion On Goals, Priorities, and Projects. Members established to meet at 11:25am at the Pinetop-Lakeside Library. Members are to serve lunch and converse with town members at the community center. Mayor Irwin encouraged us to engage in conversation while we ate lunch. Keith Johnson mentioned comfort kits. The BR sprezzaturas will perform every month at the Community Center. C.3 Review, Discussion, and Legal Action Regarding Assistance with Sirens and Sleigh Bells Member River Rigg moved to approve the following legal action: MYAC Members participating in Sirens and Sleigh Bells and a Clothing Drive. The motion was seconded by Member J Grzelak and was carried unanimously with a 8-0 vote. Member Smithson explained donations for Siren and Sleigh Bells must be packed, new clothes or money is also accepted. A donation box will foyer of town hall. Other possible locations include BR District Office, the Pinetop-Lakeside Library, and other business. Member S Grzelak made flyer promoting the donation boxes. These will be printed off and posted on social media. S Grzelak or Member Smithson will send the flyer to Annie Derosier, so it can be on digital platforms. Member Smithson reminded MYAC members that donations are only accepted until December 9, 2022 and items should be focused on children. Mayor Irwin suggests to hand flyers at the post offices. In addition, Mr. Johnson mentions White Mountain Clothe A Child which will take place on December 3 at JC Pennys. Kristi Salskov will give 3 boxes to Member Smithson and Member Eddy who will decorate them. E. Public Comments: No public comments. F.
