Council Minutes March 11, 2015 – 5:00 p.m. Special Called Meeting The Pinson City Council met for a Special Called meeting at 4410 Main Street on Wednesday, March 11, 2015. Roll Call: Marie Turner, City Clerk, called roll of Pinson City Council with the following council members present: Mayor Sanders Councilor Tanner Councilor Cochran Councilor Roberts Councilor Churchwell Councilor McCain Councilor Cochran offered a resolution authorizing the purchase of a vehicle, 1999 Ford Duramax Bucket Lift Truck in the amount of $10,200.00, to be paid from the city’s 7 and 2 cent road and equipment fund. Councilor Tanner duly seconded the motion. Mayor Sanders called for any discussion. As there was no discussion, Mayor Sanders called for a roll call vote on the main resolution with the following results: Mayor Sanders-yes; Councilor Tanner-yes; Councilor Cochran-yes; Councilor Roberts-yes; Councilor Churchwell-yes; Councilor McCain-yes. Mayor Sanders, resolution passes unanimously as Resolution 15-20. Councilor Cochran moved to adjourn. Councilor Churchwell duly seconded the motion. Mayor Sanders called for all opposed to say “no”, all in favor say “aye”. Motion carried.
