TOWN OF PITTSBORO BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS SEPTEMBER 21 , 2023 SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES PAGE 1 OF 1 TOWN OF PITTSBORO The Pittsboro Board of Commissioners met in Special Session on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at 5:30pm in the meeting room at the Chatham County Agriculture and Conference Center. ELECTED TOWN OFFICIALS PRESENT: Mayor Cindy S. Perry, Commissioners John Bonitz, Jay Farrell, Kyle Shipp, and James Vose. ELECTED TOWN OFFICIALS ABSENT: Mayor Pro Tern Pamela Baldwin . TOWN STAFF PRESENT: Town Manager Jonathan Franklin, Assistant Town Manager/Director of Engineering Kent Jackson and Town Clerk Carrie Bailey. The purpose of this meeting is to collaborate with Central Pines Regional Council to create and refine a Strategic Framework for Pittsboro as an organization . The final product is to provide mission and vision statements, core values, goals, and strategies that will guide the Board of Commissioners and staff to ensure all are working towards the same outcome.
