1. CALL TO ORDER AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG

4. ADOPTION OF AGENDA
5. ADOPTION OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING – APRIL 17, 2014.
6. ITEMS OF INTEREST TO THE PUBLIC: This portion of the meeting is reserved
for persons wishing to address the Committee on any matter not on the Agenda
that is within the subject matter review authority of the Committee. The
Committee shall not take action on this item. The Chairperson reserves the right
to limit the speaker’s time to three minutes. Please give any written material
presented at the meeting to the Committee Staff Liaison for the public record.
7. NEW BUSINESS:
7.1 2986 Coloma Street - Conditional Use Permit (CUP) 2014-03: A
request for a conditional use by Tim and Ellen Page, property owners of
2986 Coloma Street, Placerville, for West Slope Recovery, to operate a ten
(10) bed residential substance abuse treatment facility within an existing
two-story single-family residence, located within the Coloma – Spring
Streets Historic Residential District. No exterior alteration of the
residence is proposed.
The Committee is requested to advise and make recommendations to the
Planning Commission with respect to the CUP 2014-03 project. Per City
Council Resolution 7896, Sections 11, 12A and 12C, the Committee shall
advise the Planning Commission on appropriate means (if applicable) to
maintain the integrity of the historic resources located within the
project’s vicinity. The Committee recommendation shall be made by
motion.

7.2 2875 Pleasant Street - Site Plan Review (SPR) 2014-02: A request by
Lisa Morgan and John Sandoval, property owners of 2875 Pleasant
Street, to replace the existing wood window sashes of five (5) windows
with wood sashes on a home located within the Bedford Avenue – Clay
Street Historic Residential District.
The Committee is requested to advise and make recommendation to the
Planning Commission with respect to the SPR 2014-02 project. Per City
Council Resolution 7896, Sections 11 and 12C, along with Zoning Code
Section 10-4-10, the Committee shall review the request in accordance
with the Secretary of Interior Standards for Rehabilitation & Guidelines
for Rehabilitating Historic Buildings. The Committee recommendation
shall be made by motion.
8. DISCUSSION
Committee Collaboration with Organizations and Civic Groups: This item
follows-up from the Committee’s discussion on this and other potential
Committee 2014-2015 Work Activities at the April 17, 2014 meeting.
