OPEN SESSION 1. CALL TO ORDER: 2. ROLL CALL: Cumpston, Granados, Rodman, VanSickle, Zangari 3. ADOPTION OF AGENDA: 4. COMMUNICATIONS: A copy of a letter from the State Board of Equalization dated September 4, 2014, regarding forecasted sales tax growth for the third quarter of 2014 is included in the agenda packet for informational purposes only. 5. ELECTION OF OFFICERS: 5.1 Nominations for Chairperson At this time, the Staff Liaison will request nominations from the Committee for the election of Chairperson. Any Committee Member may make a nomination, and a second. A voice vote will be taken. Following a majority vote by the Committee, the elected Chairperson will call for nominations for Vice-Chairperson. 5.2 The Chairperson Calls for Nominations for Vice-Chairperson The newly elected Chairperson will call for a motion and a second to nominate candidate(s) within the Committee for the position of Vice- Chairperson. Following a majority vote by the Committee, the elected Chairperson will call for nominations for Secretary. 5.3 The Chairperson Calls for Nominations for Secretary The newly elected Chairperson will call for a motion and a second to nominate candidate(s) within the Committee for the position of Secretary. MINUTES OF THE MEASURE H SALES TAX COMMITTEE MEETING OF May 15, 2014 (Mr. Warren): Recommendation by the Staff Liaison that the Measure H Sales Tax Committee approve the minutes of the Committee meeting held May 15, 2014. 7. SEWER AND WATER RATE NOTICE (Mr. Warren): A copy of the Public Notice addressing the new sewer and water rates that became effective August 16, 2014, is included in the agenda packet for informational purposes only. 8. WATERING RESTRICTIONS (Mr. Warren): A copy of the Public Notice addressing the ongoing watering restrictions is included in the agenda packet for informational purposes only. 9. MEASURE H FUND QUARTERLY FINANCIAL REPORTS (Mr. Warren): Recommendation by the Staff Liaison that the Measure H Sales Tax Committee acknowledge and file the Measure H Fund financial reports for the quarters ended March 31, 2014 and June 30, 2014. 10. UPCOMING ITEMS: Items tentatively scheduled for the next Committee meeting include: Measure H Fund financial reports for the quarters ended September 30, 2014 and development of a community survey for the future use of Measure H sales Tax. 11.
