BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS & SAFETY Regular Meeting DECEMBER 13, 2022 10:30 AM Pledge of Allegiance. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Lynch at 10:32 A.M. Members Present: Mayor Lynch, Jamie Lewis, Scott Williams, and Stephanie Young-Johnson. Also, present was Clerk-Treasurer Nina Rivas and Attorney Whitten. MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING: Member Lewis made a motion to approve November 22, 2022, minutes; Member Young-Johnson seconded the motion. Mayor Lynch requested input from the Board. Motion passed. 4 yes – 0 nays UNFINISHED BUSINESS: None. NEW BUSINESS: Special Event Request – Regional Performing Arts Member Williams made a motion to approve the request; Member Lewis seconded the motion. Mayor Lynch requested input from the Board. Motion passed. 4 yes – 0 nays Solicitor’s Permit – McCulloch Industries, Inc. Member Lewis made a motion to table the permit application; Member Williams seconded the motion. Mayor Lynch requested input from the Board. Motion passed. 4 yes – 0 nays Contract Renewal – Darque Side of D’Lyte Member Jamie made a motion to approve the contract renewal; Member Young-Johnson seconded the motion. Mayor Lynch requested input from the Board. Motion passed. 4 yes – 0 nays BULK ITEM APPEALS: None. CLAIMS: Member Williams made a motion to approve the claims; Member Lewis seconded the motion. Mayor Lynch requested input from the Board. Motion passed. 4 yes – 0 nays MAJOR ILLNESS CLAIMS: Member Collins made a motion to approve five (5) Major Illness and one (1) Covid Claim; Member seconded the motion. Mayor Lynch requested input from the Board. Motion passed. 4 yes – 0 nays OTHER BUSINESS: Attorney Whitten provided an update to the Board regarding the Retrievx data. He informed the Board that he has been working with Proven IT to get the data transferred to the AWS server. There will be a cost of approximately $2,500 to transfer the digital documents. The physical documents will need to be retirieved by the city. Attorney Whitten also provided the Board with an addendum to the Street/Sanitation/Park CBA that corrected the baseline wages in the CBA. ADJOURNMENT Mayor Lynch entertained a motion to adjourn.
