BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS & SAFETY Regular Meeting FEBRUARY 14, 2023 10:30 AM Pledge of Allegiance. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Lynch at 10:30 A.M. Members Present: Mayor Lynch, Jamie Lewis, Scott Williams, and Stephanie Young-Johnson. Also, present was Clerk-Treasurer Nina Rivas and Attorney Whitten. MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING: Member Williams made a motion to approve February 14, 2022, minutes; Member Lewis seconded the motion. Mayor Lynch requested input from the Board. Motion passed. 4 yes – 0 nays UNFINISHED BUSINESS: NEW BUSINESS: Permission to Donate Tasters to Valparaiso University Police Member Lewis made a motion to approve the request; Member Young-Johnson seconded the motion. Mayor Lynch requested input from the Board. Motion passed. 4 yes – 0 nays BULK ITEM APPEALS: None CLAIMS: Member Williams made a motion to approve the claims; Member Lewis seconded the motion. Mayor Lynch requested input from the Board. Motion passed. 4 yes – 0 nays MAJOR ILLNESS CLAIMS: Member Lewis made a motion to approve six (6) Major Illness; Member Young-Johnson seconded the motion. Mayor Lynch requested input from the Board. Motion passed. 4 yes – 0 nays OTHER BUSINESS: None. ADJOURNMENT Mayor Lynch entertained a motion to adjourn.
