Texas will conduct a telephonic meeting in order to advance the public health goal of limiting face-to-face meetings (also called “social distancing”) to slow the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). MEETING and WORKSHOP This CITY OF PRAIRIE VIEW PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION Meeting will be held on Monday, March 15, 2021, 6:00 P.M. Anyone wishing to offer public comments or speak during a public hearing may do so by notifying the City Secretary at least two hours prior to the meeting at citysecretary@prairieviewtexas.gov. Comments will be limited to three (3) minutes. 5. Consent Agenda All matters listed under the Consent Agenda, are considered routine by the Commission and will be enacted by one motion. These items include preliminary plats and rezoning requirements, where staff has found compliance with all minimum subdivision regulations. All items approved by consent are approved with any and all staff recommendations. 6.. Approval of Planning and Zoning Commission meeting minutes dated December 10, 2020. 7. Regular Agenda: Discuss, Consider and/or Take Action: 7.A Discuss and possibly take action on scheduling Planning and Zoning Commission meetings and hearings to be held on every fourth Thursday of the month until such time as it is deemed necessary to change the meeting schedule by recommendation of the Planning & Zoning Commission and approval of the City Council. 7.B Discuss future location(s) of MH – Manufactured Housing District(s) in the City of Prairie View.. WORKSHOP ITEM: No action to be taken. 7.C Discuss the official process for review of planning and zoning applications in the City of Prairie View. WORKSHOP ITEM: No action to be taken. 7.D Discuss goals for the Planning and Zoning Commission in the City of Prairie View in the years, 2021 & 2022. WORKSHOP ITEM: No action to be taken. 8. Items for Future Agendas: Commissioners may request items for future agendas at this time. Pursuant to section 551.042 of the Texas Open Meeting Act, any deliberation or decision about the future. agenda items shell be limited to a proposal to place the subject on the agenda for a subsequent meeting. 9. Executive Session: Convene into executive session with City Attorney, as allowed by Texas Government Code, section 551.071 (Consultation with Attorney), to discuss legal matters associated with any of the agenda items identified herein.
