All agenda items are subject to action. The City Council Reserves the right to meet in closed session on any agenda item should the need arise and if applicable, pursuant to Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code. _____________________________________________________________________________ AGENDA Call to Order Roll Call/Certification of Quorum Invocation and Pledge Public Comments: Citizens must sign-in with the City Secretary before the meeting to address City Council. Limit your comments to three (3) minutes. City Council will listen to the comments, but cannot discuss or respond to the comments during the meeting. The matter may be referred to a department head, Mayor or City Council may direct that the matter be placed on the next regular City Council Agenda. If a written response is desired from the City, please request in writing. 1. Discuss and take action on establishing an African American Cultural Heritage Commission, Ordinance 2019-1216-001 in City of Prairie View (Mayor Allen, Ms. Debose, & Ms. Stafford) 2. Discuss and take action to approve Erskine Payne, CPA PLLC to do the annual audit. (Mayor Allen, Mr. JJ Johnson) 3. Discuss status of Building Official. (Mayor Allen) 4. Discuss status of the City streets. (Mayor Allen) 5. Discuss and take action on written report from Trilogy Engineering, Bureau Veritas, USW, and Attorney’s review documents for compliance and recommendations on Panther Hill apartments, Campus Edge, and The Gates.
