The funding for the bus service would be from private funding but would be willing to work with the city if there are state or federal funds for the in city service. The bus size would be 20 to 40 passengers. Alderperson Hoschette stated it would be nice to include the public beach, water front and Freedom Park in the summer. There was also a question if the bus should go to Mary T’s on Dexter Street. It was questioned how the bus stops were going to work. There would be some which would just have a sign others might have a shelter and bench but whatever is used it needs to safe for people to get off and on the bus. There was a question about storage and maintenance and office space for the service. Steve stated his company will handle complaints and questions. The committee stated the plan presented is a good concept plan. Steve stated they will be working on a more refined plan and timeline.
