City of Radford Electoral Board Minutes of Emergency Meeting February 22, 2024 Chairwoman Ann Craig called an emergency meeting of the City of Radford Electoral Board to order at 4:03 p.m. on February 22, 2024, in the office of the General Registrar located at 619 2nd Street, Room 143, Radford, Virginia. Present were Chairwoman Craig, Vice Chairman Chris Quesenberry, and Secretary Carol Colby, constituting a quorum, as well as General Registrar Lindsey Williams and Chief Deputy Registrar Missy Mayweather. The Board assigned officers of election to work at the March 5, 2024, presidential primary election. Mrs. Williams reported on her presentation to students at Radford High School about a page program designed to engage high school students in the elections process. Mrs. Williams expressed concern that the General Registrar’s office was not in possession of a key to the West Precinct building. Upon motion by Secretary Colby and second from Vice Chairman Quesenberry, the Board authorized Chairwoman Craig to seek to obtain the key from the person in possession of it. Mrs. Williams discussed an upcoming security meeting with city officials, scheduled for April 17. The meeting was adjourned at 4:37 p.m.
