ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION
1. Chamber of Commerce Request/Scarecrow Event
Director Moore informed the Authority that the Chamber of Commerce was requesting
assistance with their fall decorating/scarecrow event. There are enough funds in the
Community Promotions line item to cover this cost.
Motion by Garant, seconded by Reindel, to approve the request from the Richmond
Area Chamber of Commerce for assistance with the fall decorating and authorize up to
$500 for straw bales and cornstalks to be placed at Main Street light poles from Park
Street to Gratiot Avenue from Tuesday, October 1, 2019 to November 3, 2019.

Director Moore informed the Authority that some of the decorations were close to 19

plan for the replacement of the 26 remaining decorations in 2020.
