MINUTES KEEP RICHWOOD BEAUTIFUL COMMISSION MEETING Wednesday, October 05, 2022 at 6:00 PM BE IT KNOWN THAT a City of Richwood Keep Richwood Beautiful Commission will meet Wednesday, October 05, 2022, beginning at 6:00 PM at Richwood City Hall, located at 1800 Brazosport Blvd. N., Richwood, Texas 77531 with the following agenda: I. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. II. CONSENT AGENDA A. Approval of minutes from regular meeting held September 20, 2022. Motion to approve Motion made by Janet Ellis, Seconded by Amanda Reynolds. Voting Yea: Janet Ellis, Jeremy Fountain, Lindsie Yearsin, Amanda Reynold Motion carries. V. REPORT ON RECENT EVENTS A. Larry Johnson Park Upgrade, phase one - October 1, 2022 Kimberly reported phenomenal turn out of volunteers for this event. Everything went well and a lot was done. B. National Night Out - October 4, 2022 National night out - roughly 300 people there. Overflow from Polk for their openhouse. Ran out of food, gave away most of the promo items. VI. UPCOMING EVENTS A. Larry Johnson Park Upgrade, phase two - October 22, 2022 Discussion held on tasks planned for the day. B. Trunk or Treat - October 28, 2022 Discussion held on preparation needed for this event since Polk is having their fall festival the same night. Discussion held on serving snacks for the evening Discussion held on how to set things up at the park. Discussion held on photo booth set up. Motion to approve $750 budget for Trunk or Treat Motion made by Amanda Reynolds, Seconded by Janet Ellis. Voting Yea: Janet Ellis, Jeremy Fountain, Lindsie Yearsin, Amanda Reynolds Motion Carried. Discussion held on when to arrive. VII. YARD OF THE MONTH - OCTOBER Spookiest Yard of the Month Would like everyone to judge by 9p.m. on September 27 VIII. DISCUSSION AND ACTION ITEMS A. Discussion and possible action regarding dedication of a park bench for Garry Ellis. Janet presented. She requests we table this until January. Kimberly adv we would need to look into budgeting 800-1000 for this. B. Discussion and possible action regarding GCAA award project. Kimberly presented information after speaking with the TXDOT liaison. dsicssuion held on possible ideas Kim will get more pricing on light poles IX. FINANCIAL REPORT Kimberly presented updated expenditures and tracking log. X. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S REPORT Kimberly reported that Audrey has resigned her position. Close to 300lbs of produce. XI. ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND ITEMS OF COMMUNITY INTEREST Thanks to the residents and committee members volunteer. XII. SET NEXT MEETING DATE November 1, 2022 XIII.
