MINUTES KEEP RICHWOOD BEAUTIFUL COMMISSION MEETING Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 6:00 PM BE IT KNOWN THAT a City of Richwood Keep Richwood Beautiful Commission will meet Tuesday, September 10, 2024, beginning at 6:00 PM at Richwood City Hall, located at 1800 Brazosport Blvd. N., Richwood, Texas 77531 with the following agenda: I. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. II. ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS PRESENT Tracy Bocanegra Kai York ABSENT Denise York III. PUBLIC COMMENTS There was no public comment. IV. UPCOMING EVENTS A. National Night Out, October 1 Discussion held on participation. B. Trunk or Treat, October 25 Budget for candy - $400.00 The board will participate. C. Fall Sweep, November 2 Decided on OCD to clean up the neighborhood at 9 AM. V. YARD OF THE MONTH September - Brazos Crossing Subdivision October - Spookiest Yard Contest Kai will choose in Brazos Crossing. Discussion held on spookiest yard contest. VI. DISCUSSION AND ACTION ITEMS A. Discussion and possible action regarding work to be done at the Community Garden, including garden bed replacement and rain barrels. Tracy presented information regarding the garden. Discussion was held on tracking the needs for possible grant opportunities.  B. Discussion and possible action regarding "Our Texas, Our Future" grant projects. Margaret advised this will be addressed in the directors' report. C. Discuss and consider purchasing Keep Richwood Beautiful promotional items. Discussion held on items to purchase. No action taken. VII. FINANCIAL REPORT A. Keep Richwood Beautiful Budget Report Kirsten Garcia, City Secretary, presented the budget report. VIII. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S REPORT Margaret McMahan presented. IX.
