City Council Special Meeting

Special City Council Meeting June 30, 2020 A special Riverdale City Council meeting of June 30, 2020 was called to order at 6:00 PM by President Orth. Present: Jerry Orth, Garth Zimbelman, Dick Cheatley, Jonna Taylor and Auditor Del Kolke Absent: Ken Skuza Cheatley moved to allow Brannon Ulmer to sell fireworks at Bayside Marine from June 27, 2020 through July 5, 2020 as directed by North Dakota guidelines. Taylor seconded. Motion carried. Council reviewed several written complaints allowing camper air conditioning units to be left on during extended periods of absence and water from the campground being used off site. Additional input had been provided by city maintenance on the electrical and water systems that indicate excessive wear and tear on the electrical system occurs and treatment capabilities at the water plant are strained. Auditor will draft a letter to address these issues and also remind campers of recreational vehicles rules. Meeting adjourned at 6:35 PM.
