City Council Special Meeting

Special City Council Meeting August 3, 2020 A special Riverdale City Council meeting of August 3, 2020 was called to order at 6:00 PM by Mayor Skuza. Present: Ken Skuza, Jerry Orth, Garth Zimbelman, Dick Cheatley, Jonna Taylor and Auditor Del Kolke Orth moved to approve payment of $59,450.40 to Suez which is 30% of total purchase price required to initiate order. Zimbelman seconded. Motion carried. Preliminary budget was presented by auditor and discussed by council members. Transferring of campground funds to support various city expenses was proposed. Orth moved to approve the preliminary tax levy of $90,500 which is the same amount levied for this year. Cheatley seconded. Motion carried. Budget hearing date is set for September 14, 2020 at 5:30 PM in the City Hall Meeting Room. Meeting adjourned at 7:15 PM.
