City Council Special Meeting

Special City Council Meeting October 27, 2022 A special Riverdale City Council meeting of October 27, 2022 was called to order at 6:00 PM by Mayor Taylor. Present: Alex Taylor, Garth Zimbelman, Mike Dirk and Auditor Del Kolke Absent: Dave Fryda and Dick Cheatley Dirk moved to bid up to $41,000 on snowblower attachment for loader through GSA Auctions. Zimbelman seconded. Zimbelman aye, Dirk aye. Motion carried. A water leak has been discovered in 2” line serving Plaza Building II. Zimbelman moved to approve DL Barkie to install 1” replacement line into water service connection, replace gate valve with curb stop and hire Levey’s Plumbing for inside work. Dirk seconded. Motion carried. Zimbelman moved to accept bid of $44,335 from Twin City Roofing for ballasted roof system at water treatment facility. Dirk seconded. Motion carried. Estimates were also received for roof replacement of Plaza Building I and public input will be sought prior to upgrades/improvements to this building. Meeting adjourned at 7:15 PM.
