Special City Council Meeting

Special City Council Meeting July 15, 2024 A special Riverdale City Council meeting of July 15, 2024 was called to order at 6:00 PM by Mayor Taylor. Present: Alex Taylor, Ken Skuza, Dave Fryda, Mike Dirk, Jerry Orth and Auditor Del Kolke Dirk visited with JR Kerzmann, McLean Co. Sheriff, to clarify police contract details and repercussions of discontinuing this service. To best utilize law enforcement, council and residents need to call in suspected violations which will prompt action from the department. Orth moved to approve the 2025 Police Service Contract with McLean Co. Sheriff’s Dept. at an annual cost of $32,870.76. Skuza seconded. Roll Call: Skuza aye, Fryda nay, Dirk aye, Orth aye.
