BACKGROUND: The 48 inch water main has a new leak which requires repair on West Country Club, between Montana and Sycamore. The City is requesting 100’ feet be replaced. It is the intent that when the new 48” water main is constructed, this 100 foot section would remain. As such, this expenditure will be more efficient. Request for quotes was sent to several utility construction firms capable of large diameter pipe construction. Deadline for quotes is June 15, 2016. All quotes will be reviewed by Engineering and a recommendation to be hand delivered and reviewed by Special Infrastructure Meeting at 4:00pm, June 16, 2016 FINANCIAL CONSIDERATION: This repair is financed by Water Department current FY 2016 budget out of repair and maintenance line items. BACKGROUND: Building #1000 was 98% abated previously however, the put back (repair of abated areas) was not completed. This facility stands to become utilized within a new lease. Therefore the facility needs to be “put back” to a usable condition for occupation and the ability to facilitate business of the leasee. FINANCIAL CONSIDERATION: This repair is financed by RIAC current FY 2016 budget out of repair and maintenance line items.
