Special Infrastructure Meeting of the Infrastructure Committee Held in the Conference Room at City Hall September 14, 2017 Notice of this meeting was given to the public in compliance with Sections 10-15-1 through 10-15-4, NMSA 1978 and Resolution 16-69. ROLL CALL: The meeting convened at 5:00 p.m. with Chair Best presiding and Councilors Oropesa, and Grant being present, and Councilor Sanchez being absent. Staff Present: Kevin Dillon, Sharon Coll, Bill Morris, Louis Najar, and Mayor Dennis Kintigh. Guest(s) Present: Larry Connolly APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Councilor Oropesa moved to approve the agenda for the Regular Infrastructure Committee meeting of September 14, 2017 as presented. Councilor Grant seconded the motion. A voice vote of 3-0 was unanimous and the motion passed with Councilor Sanchez being absent. REGULAR ITEM(S) (Action): 1. Award of Recreation Center Construction: Councilor Grant moved to award construction of the Recreation Center to C.E.S., utilizing Waide Construction to be placed on consent agenda for tonight’s meeting, September 14, 2017. Mr. Dillon discussed the award. Councilor Oropesa seconded the motion. A voice vote of 3-0 was unanimous and the motion passed with Councilor Sanchez being absent.
