Public Safety Committee Meeting Held at Roswell Convention Center Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at 4:30 p.m. The meeting convened at 4:30 p.m. with Councilor Jeanine Best presiding, Councilor Judy Stubbs present, Councilor Angela Moore participating via GoToMeeting, and Councilor Savino Sanchez absent. Staff Present: Mike Mathews, Deputy City Manager; Jill Pollock, RFD; Karen Sanders, Emergency Services Manager; Matt Miller, Chief RFD; Bill Bartlett, Code Enforcement; Jennifer Garcia, PVRCC; Sharon Coll, City Clerk; Dennis Kintigh, City Mayor; and Phil Smith, Chief RPD. AGENDA APPROVAL 1. Councilor Stubbs moved to approve the agenda. Councilor Moore was the second. A voice vote was unanimous, and the motion passed with Councilor Moore participating via GoToMeeting and Councilor Sanchez being absent. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 2. Councilor Stubbs moved to approve minutes from the January 19, 2021 Public Safety Meeting. Councilor Moore was the second. Condemnation Resolution 20-XX: Councilor Stubbs moved to send Resolution 20-XX to the full council on the consent agenda, as presented. Councilor Moore was the second. A voice vote was unanimous, and the motion passed with Councilor Moore participating via GoToMeeting and Councilor Sanchez being absent. 4. Amendment to Chapter 8 (Nuisances) of the city code: Discussion postponed until the March 16, 2021 Public Safety Meeting. 5. Final Redline Version of Chapter 16 of the city code: Discussion postponed until the March 16, 2021 Public Safety Meeting. NON-ACTION ITEMS INFORMATION 6. Department Updates: Jennifer Garcia from the PVRCC, Karen Sander from Emergency Management and Matt Miller from the RFD came forward and gave department updates. 7.
