Public Safety Committee Meeting Held at Roswell City Hall Large Conference Room Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at 4:30 p.m. Notice of this meeting was given to the public in compliance with Sections 10-15-1 through 10-15-4, NMSA 1978 and Resolution 22-14. The meeting convened at 4:30 p.m. with Councilor Jeanine Best presiding, Councilor Savino Sanchez, present. Councilor Angela Moore participating via GoTo Meeting and Councilor Judy Stubbs absent. Staff Present: Mike Mathews, Deputy City Manager; Jill Pollock, RFD; Matt Miller, Chief RFD; Phil Smith, Chief RPD; Toby Franco, Code Enforcement; Teri Best, PVRCC; Karen Sanders, Emergency Management; and Deputy Chief Michael Stanton, RPD AGENDA APPROVAL 1. Councilor Moore moved to approve the agenda as presented. Councilor Sanchez was the second. A voice vote was unanimous, and the motion passed with Councilor Moore participating via GoTo Meeting and Councilor Stubbs being absent. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 2. Councilor Moore moved to approve minutes, as presented, from the February 15, 2022 Public Safety Meeting. Councilor Sanchez was the second. A voice vote was unanimous, and the motion passed with Councilor Moore participating via GoTo Meeting and Councilor Stubbs being absent. REGULAR ITEMS 3. Condemnation Resolution 21-XX: Councilor Moore moved to send Resolution 21-XX, containing 4 properties to the full council on the consent agenda, as presented, with a recommendation to approve. Councilor Sanchez was the second. A voice vote was unanimous, and the motion passed with Councilor Moore participating via GoTo Meeting and Councilor Stubbs being absent.
