Minutes Special Called City Council Meeting July 10, 2012 City Hall 6.00 pm Officials and Guests: Aldermen Knost, Tripp, Irwin, Freeman, Northcut, Steuber, Larkin and Horton, Mayor Eaton, City Clerk Kathy Collins, City Attorney Trey Smith, Chief John Cochran, Michael Oakes, Brian Holstein, Johnny Storey, Jerry McKaughan Finance Director, Bruce Moore, David Harris, Price McMillan, Mack Hollis, Jeff Pipkin and Robert McCready. Call to Order: Mayor Bill Eaton Special Business: 1. Consideration of Resolution # 1294 to Authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to Apply for a Grant with the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism—Mayor Eaton, Jeff Pipkin AVAFED. The Feasibility Study will be used to determine the profitability and use for potential investors for the construction of a convention center for the City of Russellville. The cost of the Study will be disbursed from the Economic Development Fund. Alderman Martin Irwin made the motion to adopt the Resolution with a second by Alderman Ron Knost.
