Town Council Meeting Agenda Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.02 notice is hereby given to the public that the Sahuarita Town Council will hold a meeting at the date and time specified below at the Sahuarita Council Chambers, 375 West Sahuarita Center Way, Sahuarita, AZ. Members of the Town of Sahuarita Council will attend either in person or by telephone conference call. To better serve our community, the Sahuarita Council Chambers is wheelchair accessible. Persons with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation, such as a sign language interpreter, by contacting the Town Clerk’s Office at 520-822-8801. Invocation The Invocation will be given by Pastor Ron Carter from Desert View Baptist Church. Our invocations are provided by volunteers, and presenters will be accepted and welcomed regardless of religious affiliation. Interested parties may contact the Town Clerk. 3. Pledge of Allegiance The Pledge of Allegiance will be led by Serena Moreno, a third grade student at Sahuarita Intermediate School. 4. Roll Call 5. Call to the Public At this time, any member of the public is invited to address the Town Council on any issue which is on tonight’s Consent Agenda or on any issue which the Town Council can lawfully act upon at a future meeting. Written comments regarding any item on the agenda or on any issue which the Town Council can lawfully act upon may be submitted prior to the beginning of the council meeting for distribution to the Town Council. Pursuant to the Arizona Open Meeting Laws, the Council may not discuss the items, but individual members of the Council may respond to criticism made by those who have addressed the Council, may ask staff to review the matter, or may ask that the matter be placed on a future agenda. 7. Adoption of Resolution No. 2018-0548, authorizing the Town to enter into Town of Sahuarita Contract No. 180058, an Intergovernmental Agreement with Pima County regarding the Town's approval of Pima County's Acquisition of Real Property for construction of a portion of the Anza-Llano Grande Trail, located within the Town of Sahuarita. C. Adoption of Resolution No. 2018-0549, approving a lot split of Block 122 of the final plat of Rancho Sahuarita Regions 6-9, Pima County Tax Parcel No. 303-81-008A. D. Approval of Amendment No. Two (2) to Contract No. 170002 with Hoffman Southwest Corp., dba Professional Pipe Services, for conveyance system closed circuit television inspection services, commencing May 24, 2018 and terminating May 23, 2019; in an amount not to exceed $50,000. E. Adoption of Resolution No. 2018-0550, authorizing the Town to enter into Sahuarita Contract No. 180060, an Intergovernmental Agreement with Pima County, Town of Oro Valley, Town of Marana, City of South Tucson, Pascua Yaqui Tribe and Tucson Airport Authority, for formation, implementation, deployment, equipping, governance and maintenance of a Regional Mobile Field Force. F. Approval of Amendment No. One (1) to Contract No. 180002 with Tucson Asphalt Contractors, Inc.; Contract No. 180003 with Granite Construction Company; Contract No. 180004 with Southern Arizona Paving and Construction Company; Contract No. 180005 with Ashton Company, Inc., Contractors & Engineers; and Contract No. 180006 with Sunland Asphalt & Construction, Inc., for as-needed miscellaneous street repair and maintenance, commencing July 1, 2018 and terminating June 30, 2019; in an amount not to exceed $1,500,000. G. Approval of the Final Plat for The Crossing at Sahuarita (Case No. SA12-17-00001). H. Approval of Amendment No. One (1) to Contract No. 180047 with Tucson Asphalt for roadway repair and maintenance Green Asphalt commencing July 1, 2018 and terminating June 30, 2019; in an amount not to exceed $750,000. I. Recommendation to the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control regarding a special event liquor license application submitted by the Sahuarita Parks Foundation for Friday, June 22, 2018 at the Rancho Sahuarita Clubhouse, 15455 S. Camino Lago Azul, Sahuarita, Arizona. 8. Approval of the employee medical, dental, vision, flexible savings account (FSA) and life insurance policies for Fiscal Year 2019. Action recommended: approve the contracts. 9. Public hearing and recommendation to the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control regarding an application for a Series 12 Liquor License by MOD Pizza, located at 18767 S. Nogales Highway, Suite 105, Green Valley, Arizona, 85614, within the incorporated limits of the Town of Sahaurita. Action recommended: recommend approval of the license.
