Town Council Meeting Agenda Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.02 notice is hereby given to the public that the Sahuarita Town Council will hold a meeting at the date and time specified below at the Sahuarita Council Chambers, 375 West Sahuarita Center Way, Sahuarita, AZ. Members of the Town of Sahuarita Council will attend either in person or by telephone conference call. To better serve our community, the Sahuarita Council Chambers is wheelchair accessible. Call to Order 2. Invocation The Invocation will be given by Dusty Farmer, Green Valley Fire District Chaplain. 3. Pledge of Allegiance The Pledge of Allegiance will be led by Rebekah Kibbey, a homeschooled fifth grade student. 4. Roll Call 5. Presentations A. Proclamation in recognition of May 2, 2019 as National Day of Prayer. 6. Approval of Agenda Action recommended: approve the agenda. 7. Call to the Public At this time, any member of the public is invited to address the Town Council on any issue which is on tonight’s Consent Agenda or on any issue which the Town Council can lawfully act upon at a future meeting. Written comments regarding any item on the agenda or on any issue which the Town Council can lawfully act upon may be submitted prior to the beginning of the council meeting for distribution to the Town Council. Pursuant to the Arizona Open Meeting Laws, the Council may not discuss the items, but individual members of the Council may respond to criticism made by those who have addressed the Council, may ask staff to review the matter, or may ask that the matter be placed on a future agenda. 8. Adoption of Resolution No. 2019-0591, authorizing the Town to enter into Amendment No. Four (4) to an Intergovernmental Agreement with Pima County for dispatch services (Sahuarita Contract No. 160008) to extend the term of the current agreement by one year and increase the annual contract amount by $220,492.00 for a total five-year contract amount of $965,984.00. C. Approval of Contract No. 200001 with JanCo Janitorial, for custodial services for the municipal building at Town Hall, Police Department, Courts, Wastewater and Parks and Recreation, commencing July 1, 2019 and terminating June 30, 2020; in an amount not to exceed $127,084.08. D. Approval of Amendment No. Two (2) to Contract No. 180012 with Accela, Inc., for Civic Platform and Citizen Access Software, extending the contract, commencing June 29, 2019 and terminating June 28, 2024; in an amount not to exceed $197,888.00. E. Approval of the Amended Final Plat for The Crossing at Sahuarita - Lot 1 (Case No. SA12- 19-00003). 9. Discussion and possible appointment to the Planning and Zoning Commission. Action recommended: pleasure of the Council. 10. Public hearing and recommendation to the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control regarding an application for a Series 12 Liquor License by Two Girls Pizzeria, located at 140 W. Duval Mine Road, #108, Sahuarita, Arizona, 85614, within the incorporated limits of the Town of Sahuarita. Action recommended: pleasure of the Council. 11. Council and Town Manager Brief Summary of Current Events. EXECUTIVE SESSION 12. Executive Session pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.03 (A) (1) for the regular annual performance and contract review of the Town Attorney, Daniel J. Hochuli. CONTINUATION OF REGULAR MEETING 13. Discussion and possible action regarding adoption of the Sixth Amendment to the Employment Agreement with Town Attorney, Daniel J. Hochuli. Action recommended: pleasure of the Council. 14. Adjournment Action may be taken by the Town Council on any item listed on this agenda. The Town Council may vote to go into executive session pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.03 (A) (3) for discussion or consultation for legal advice with the Town Attorney concerning any matter listed on this agenda.
