GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENTS Receive public communications from the audience on items that are not on the agenda and that are in the City of Salinas’ subject matter jurisdiction . Comments on Consent, Consideration, and Closed session items should be held until the items are reached. The public may request that the legislative body consider adding an item for consideration on a future agenda. The public may comment on scheduled agenda items, including closed session items, as they are considered. In order to be respectful of all speakers’ views and to avoid disruption of the meeting , the audience shall refrain from applauding or jeering speakers who have been recognized by the Mayor. ID#13-169 Calling November 4, 2014 Municipal Elections Recommendation: Adopt a RESOLUTION calling for a consolidated election on November 4, 2014. ID#13-164 300 Main Street, Salinas Historic Resource Designation Recommendation: Adopt a RESOLUTION adding the building located at 300 Main Street to the City's Local Official Register of Salinas Historic Resources. ID#13-165 LPA Professional Services Agreement Recommendation: Adopt a RESOLUTION approving a Professional Services Agreement in the amount of $250,000 between the City of Salinas and LPA, Inc. for services related to conducting a spatial and feasibility study, and preparing preliminary design for the New Public Safety Facility for the Salinas Police Department; Project No. 9904. ID#13-187 Midpeninsula Mixed Use Development Recommendation: Resolution approving an Exclusive Negotiating Rights Agreement (ENRA) with Midpeninsula The Farm Inc. (MPTFI) for mixed use development at properties located at 5-21 Soledad Street. ID#13-211 Community Center Facility Lease Agreement Recommendation: Adopt a RESOLUTION approving a Facility Lease Agreement between the City of Salinas and the Millennium Charter High School, Inc., for the city-owned facility at 940 North Main Street. ID#13-177 Sherwood Hall / Community Center Painting Repairs Project Recommendation: Adopt a RESOLUTION accepting the Sherwood Hall and Community Center Painting Repairs; City C.I.P. Project No. 9765, for maintenance and responsibility. PUBLIC HEARING ID#13-181 Increase Development Impact Fees by 2.41% Effective July 1, 2014 Recommendation: Adopt a RESOLUTION adjusting City Development Impact Fees (Park, Street Tree, Storm Sewer, Sanitary Sewer, Traffic, Library, and Fire Protection Services) by 2.41% effective 7/1/14, based on the Engineering News Record (ENR) construction index.
