PRESENTATION Councilmember comments on presentations are generally limited to three minutes. PUBLIC COMMENT TIME RESTRICTIONS Public comments generally are limited to two minutes per speaker; the Mayor may further limit the time for public comments depending on the agenda schedule. GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENTS Receive public communications from the audience on items that are not on the agenda and that are in the City of Salinas’ subject matter jurisdiction. Comments on Consent, Consideration, and Closed session items should be held until the items are reached. The public may request that the legislative body consider adding an item for consideration on a future agenda. The public may comment on scheduled agenda items, including closed session items, as they are considered. In order to be respectful of all speakers’ views and to avoid disruption of the meeting, the audience shall refrain from applauding or jeering speakers who have been recognized by the Mayor. ID#13-383 2014 Slurry Seal Project Recommendation: Adopt a RESOLUTION approving award of contract to Graham Contractors, Inc. for the 2014 Slurry Seal Project, CIP 9438, in the amount of $1,212,534.00. ID#13-385 Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) Recommendation: Adopt a RESOLUTION accepting the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Regional Assistance to Firefighters Grant in the amount of $900,388 to replace aging SCBAs. ID#13-401 Vacation of Public Services Easement at a Portion of Melody Lane Pursuant to Street and Highways Code, Part 3, Chapter 4, Section 8333(c). Recommendation: Adopt a RESOLUTION approving the vacation of a public services easement at a portion of Melody Lane. ID#13-402 Direct Purchase of a Police Package Sports Utility Vehicle Recommendation: Adopt a RESOLUTION authorizing the direct purchase of a 2014 Chevy Tahoe Police Package Vehicle (PPV) from Wondries Fleet Group, at a total cost of $32,750.87. ID#13-407 Purchase of Hybrid Storage for Virtual Desktop and Server Infrastructure Recommendation: Adopt a RESOLUTION authorizing the purchase a Tegile Hybrid Storage Solution from Howard Technology Solutions, at a cost of $93,501.58. SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE FORMER SALINAS REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY CONSENT AGENDA ID#13-428 Recognized Obligation Payment Schedule for the Six Months Ending June 30, 2015 (ROPS 14-15B) Recommendation: Adopt a RESOLUTION of the Salinas Successor Agency approving the Recognized Obligation Payment Schedule for the six months ending June 30, 2015 (ROPS 14-15B). CONSIDERATION ID#13-427 FY 2014-15 Measure V Carry Over One-Time Funding Projects Recommendation: Adopt a RESOLUTION approving supplemental appropriations to the FY 2014-15 operating and capital budgets for the City of Salinas for the Measure V one-time funding projects.
