The public may request that the legislative body consider adding an item for consideration on a future agenda. The public may comment on scheduled agenda items, including closed session items, as they are considered. In order to be respectful of all speakers’ views and to avoid disruption of the meeting, the audience shall refrain from applauding or jeering speakers who have been recognized by the Mayor. CONSIDERATION ID#17-132 Emergency Ambulance Transport Services Recommendation: Direct the Salinas Fire Department (SFD) to plan, develop and respond to a Request for Proposal (RFP) Process from the County of Monterey Emergency Medical Services Agency for emergency ambulance transport services. ADMINISTRATIVE REPORT ID#17-085 Draft Economic Development Element Annual Report Recommendation: Accept informational report on the status of the adoption and implementation of the Economic Development Element (EDE). ID#17-097 2008 City Standard Plans revision to meet the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) Recommendation: Approve a Resolution approving the update to the City's existing 2008 Standard Specifications, Design Standards, and Standard Plans by revising City Standard Plans 2, 42 and 44 to meet current ADA standards and replacing City Standard Plans 4A and 4B with the latest Caltrans ADA Pedestrian Ramp Standard Plans. ID#17-100 The Bridge Preventative Maintenance Plan Grant Recommendation: Approve a Resolution accepting the $40,000 grant of Federal Highway Act Funds for the Bridge Preventative Maintenance Plan from Cal Trans. ID#17-117 State Parks Youth Soccer and Recreation Development Program Grant Recommendation: Approve a Resolution regarding the application for a Youth Soccer and Recreation Development Program Grant.
