Closed session items should be held until the items are reached. The public may

ID#21-008 2020 Weed Abatement Program
Recommendation: Approve a Resolution approving the 2020 Weed Abatement charge and collection of the
unpaid charge from the property owner.
ID#21-002 Third Substantial Amendment to United States Department of Housing and
Urban Development FY 2019-2020 Annual Action
Recommendation: Approve a Resolution approving a Third Substantial Amendment to the United States
Department of Housing and Urban Development FY 2019-2020 Annual Action Plan.
ID#21-021 Zoning Code Amendment 2020-002; An Ordinance to allow one renewal of a
Temporary Use of Land Permit (TULP) for Temporary Employee and Interim
Housing in existing properties developed as a hotel or motel
Recommendation: Adopt an ordinance amending Section 37-50.300 (Temporary Use of Land) of Chapter 37
of the Salinas Municipal Code (Zoning Code) to allow one renewal of a Temporary Use of
Land Permit for temporary employee or interim housing in existing properties developed
as hotels or motels.

Recommendation: Approve financial claims report.
ID#21-007 September 2020 Financial Report
Recommendation: Accept the Quarterly Financial Report for September 2020.
ID#20-440 Acceptance of Several Capital Improvement Projects
Recommendation: Approve a Resolution accepting several Capital Improvement Program projects for
maintenance and responsibility.
ID#20-468 Bardin Road Safe Routes to School Improvements, Project No. 9218
Recommendation: Approve a Resolution approving the proposal from MNS Engineers, Inc. for Construction
Management and Inspection Services for the Bardin Road Safe Routes to School
Improvements, Project No. 9218, in the amount of $1,192,268.
ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS
ID#21-010 Salinas Plan Quarterly Update
Recommendation: No action required. This Report serves primarily to update the Council on progress made
towards the items identified in the Salinas Plan.
COUNCILMEMBERS’ REPORTS, APPOINTMENTS AND FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS
Receive communication from Councilmembers on reports, appointments and future
agenda items. Councilmember comments are generally limited to three minutes.
