5:15 Work Session
Agenda Planning Calendar Review
Chairwoman Kris Nicholl reviewed the Agenda Planning Calendar.
Council Member Business
Chairwoman Kris Nicholl addressed changing the Council Conference Room permanently
to a "Living Room" setting. The Council all agreed to move forward. She then asked the
Council if they have any changes or recommendations to the budget to get those to Mike
Applegarth in writing by June 3rd.
Chris McCandless stated that the Jordan River Commission was honored by the
American Society for Public Administration. They received the appreciation for an
outstanding contribution to public administration. He then updated the Council on the
ZAP Advisory Board.
Chairwoman updated the Council on the recent Planning Commission meeting. She then
asked Rob Wall to brief the Council on the Pepperwood View PUD.

The Mayor updated the Council on the various meetings and projects he has been
involved in.

CAO Report
Byron Jorgensen addressed the Council and stated that Cavalia is in compliance with the
alcohol ordinance.
Mike Coulam addressed the Council and stated that he has received a new application
from Boulder Ventures and that it will be going to the Planning Commission in June.

Council Member Fairbanks read the Resolution honoring Dariusz Josef Sulich then
presented it to his family.

A motion was made by Chris McCandless, seconded by Stephen Smith, to
approve the Consent Calendar. The motion carried by a a unanimous vote.

4. MISC-2-16-4 Community Development Department recommending the City Council
974 approve a utility easement vacation along the eastern and western property
lines located at 885 and 897 Silver Sage Drive.

Tony Gallow, a neighbor, addressed the Council.
A motion was made by Chris McCandless, seconded by Linda Martinez Saville, to
approve the utility easement vacation on the eastern/western property line of the
properties located at 885 and 897 East Silver Sage Drive based on the findings
and subject to the conditions as recommended by staff and Planning
Commission.
