Council questions and comments followed which were addressed by Ms. Ward and Blake Unguren from Avenue Consultants. 2. 20-111 City Council Office requesting update on current parks usage and conditions. City Parks and Recreation Director Scott Earl provided an update on the status of the Department including personnel, parks and trails usage, facilities status, and enterprise funds impacts due to closures. Council questions and comments followed. 3. 20-110 Administration briefing on City staffing during COVID-19 restrictions. Attachments: City-wide Employee Status COVID-19 Update Chief Administrative Officer Matt Huish discussed the status of employees and telecommuting during the current stay-at-home order. Additional data will be available later this week. Council questions and comments followed. Deputy CAO Kim Bell also provided an update on emergency management coordination including the precautionary measures of city first responders. 4. 20-112 Economic Development Director providing an overview of the Redevelopment Agency. Attachments: Economic Development RDA Presentation CC 4.14.20 Economic Development Director Nick Duerksen provided an overview of economic development methods in Sandy City including the goals and mechanics of the Redevelopment Agency and its project areas. 6:00 Time Certain Items Citizen Comment Council Senior Analyst Dustin Fratto provided instruction on how to utilize the public comment portion of the meeting. Steve Van Maren asked about the status of the budget. Mayor Bradburn noted that the Tentative Budget would be delivered on Tuesday, May 5. Adjournment The meeting unanimously in adjourned at 7:48 PM.
