SCHEDULED ITEM(S) 5.1 PUBLIC HEARING - 1650 W STEELE LANE APARTMENTS, EIR PREVIOUSLY CERTIFIED BY CC - PLANNING PROJECT - 1650 W STEELE LN - PRJ21-010 BACKGROUND: A three-story, 36-unit multifamily affordable housing project including a 100% density bonus (35% state density bonus, 65% supplemental density bonus). A total of 36 parking stalls are proposed. The supplemental density bonus requires a Minor Conditional Use Permit, whereas 35% awarded by the State is by-right. The construction of the project requires Minor Design Review pursuant to Zoning Code Chapter 20-16. Amenities include an internal courtyard and private balconies.
