November 9, 2015 ***VILLAGE BOARD MINUTES*** November 9, 2015 SAUKVILLE MUNICIPAL CENTER 639 E GREEN BAY AVE SAUKVILLE, WISCONSIN Village President Barb Dickmann called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. Village Administrator Dawn Wagner gave the Statement of Public Notice. Members: Barb Dickmann-present, Dan Sauer-present, David Maglio-present, Mike Krocka-present, Michael Gielow-present, Joe Caban-present, and Scott Fischer-present. Others Present: Dawn Wagner, Mary Kay Baumann, Vicki Lee, Ray deBruijn, Ray Hartmann, Dale Kropidlowski, Shari & Norbert Kirsch, and Mark Jaeger – also see list attached! PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE CITIZEN COMMENTS AND QUESTIONS No comments. APPROVE MINUTES OF OCTOBER 20, 2015 MEETING Krocka/Sauer made a motion to approve the October 20, 2015 minutes as presented. Motion carried. COMMUNICATIONS REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT Dickmann presented EMS Division Chief Shari Kirsch with a retirement plaque and a gift card and thanked her from the Village Board and Staff for her 30 years of dedicated service to the Village of Saukville and its residents. REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR Wagner also congratulated Kirsch. ORDINANCES – RESOLUTIONS – PETITIONS Res. #1219 – 2016 Water Utility Budget Krocka/Caban made a motion to waive the reading of Res. #1219 – 2016 Water Utility Budget as presented. Motion carried. Sauer/Fischer made a motion to approve Res. #1219 – 2016 Water Utility Budget as presented. Motion carried. Res. #1220 – 2016 Wastewater Utility Budget Krocka/Sauer made a motion to waive the reading of Res. #1220 – 2016 Wastewater Utility Budget. Motion carried. Gielow/Krocka made a motion to approve Res. #1220 – 2016 Wastewater Utility Budget as presented. Motion carried. REPORTS OF VILLAGE BOARD COMMITTEES Utility Committee Sauer reported on the meeting of November 9, 2015. 2016 Budgets for Water and Wastewater were reviewed and recommended for approval. Sauer reported that Arkema will idle its facility and will be closed by the end of 2015.  November 9, 2015 Staff is addressing the issues with Well #4. Discussion was held regarding 2017 road projects. Public Works Committee No report. Public Safety Committee Krocka thanked Shari Kirsch for her 30 years of service to the Village. Finance Committee No report. REPORTS OF SPECIAL COMMITTEES Plan Commission Krocka reported on the meeting of November 5, 2015. A request for new signage for Like Nu Car Wash was reviewed and approved. A business plan for Lakeshore ATA, LLC at 142 Foster Drive was reviewed and approved. A plan for a garage at 229 E. Green Bay Avenue was reviewed and approved. A request for new building signage at Saukville Elementary School was reviewed and approved. Preliminary plans for a residential housing plan on Briarknoll Court were reviewed. Community Development Authority/Industrial Review Committee No report. Library Board The next meeting is scheduled for Saturday, November 14, 2015. Mid-Moraine Municipal Association The next meeting is scheduled for January 13, 2016. OPERATOR’S LICENSE APPROVALS Krocka/Gielow made a motion to approve Operator’s License Applications for Dougherty for Kwik Trip, Hansen for Firehouse Restaurant, Shaurette for Beck’s Green Bay Ave Mart, and Vlasak for Fox Bros. Piggly Wiggly. Motion carried. LIQUOR LICENSE APPROVALS None. CITIZEN MATTERS AS NOTICED None. ADJOURNMENT Krocka/Maglio made a motion to adjourn to Tuesday, November 24, 2015.
