June 7, 2016 ***VILLAGE BOARD MINUTES*** June 7, 2016 SAUKVILLE MUNICIPAL CENTER 639 E GREEN BAY AVE SAUKVILLE, WISCONSIN Village President Barb Dickmann called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. Village Administrator, Dawn Wagner, gave the Statement of Public Notice. Members: Barb Dickmann-present, Dan Sauer-present, David Maglio-present, Mike Krocka-present, Michael Gielow-present, Joe Caban-present, and Scott Fischer-present Others Present: Dawn Wagner, Ray deBruijn, Jeff Goetz, Vicki Lee, and Mark Jaeger PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE CITIZEN COMMENTS AND QUESTIONS Mike Krocka announced that the Fire Department is having a brat fry sponsored by the Saukville Lions Club Saturday, June 11th at Saukville Meats from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. The proceeds raised will go towards a utility vehicle that seats six for the Fire Department. APPROVE MINUTES OF MAY 16, 2016 MEETING Fischer/Caban made a motion to approve the May 16, 2016 minutes as presented. Motion carried. COMMUNICATIONS REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT No report. REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR No report. ORDINANCES – RESOLUTIONS – PETITIONS Ord. #766 - Regulation of Fences Krocka/Sauer made a motion to waive the first reading of Ord. #766 - Regulation of Fences. Motion carried. Krocka/Caban made a motion to waive the reading of Ord. #766 - Regulation of Fences. Motion carried. Gielow/Fischer made a motion to approve Ord. #766 - Regulation of Fences as presented. Motion carried. Res. #1235 – 2015 CMAR Report Maglio/Krocka made a motion to approve Res. #1235. Motion carried. REPORTS OF VILLAGE BOARD COMMITTEES Utility Committee No report. Public Works Committee No report. Public Safety Committee The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, June 9, 2016.  June 7, 2016 Finance Committee Dickmann reported on the meeting June 7, 2016. Dickmann reported that Res. #1235 was reviewed and recommended for approval. The 5-year Community Investment Plan w/Parks was reviewed and changes recommended. Ord. #766 was reviewed and recommended for approval. Other Matters: Chamber Awards and Golf Outing is Tuesday, June 14 th. Negotiations are starting with LAW-Saukville Police Union. Live at the Triangle Concerts are starting next week with new vendor “Wing It”. REPORTS OF SPECIAL COMMITTEES Plan Commission The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, June 9, 2016. Community Development Authority/Industrial Review Committee No report. Library Board No report. Mid-Moraine Municipal Association No report. OPERATOR’S LICENSE APPROVALS Krocka/Caban made a motion to approve Operator’s License Application requests for Mueller for Mid-City Quick Mart; Carle & Baumann for J’Sports Bar & Karrels for Saukville Fire Department. LIQUOR LICENSE APPROVALS Krocka/Sauer made a motion to approve an application for a “Class A” Combination License for Beck’s Enterprises, Inc. d/b/a Beck’s Green Bay Ave. Mart, 660 E. Green Bay Ave., Jennifer Beck, Agent. CITIZEN MATTERS AS NOTICED None. ADJOURNMENT Maglio/Krocka made a motion to adjourn to June 28, 2016.
