Village President Barb Dickmann called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m.
Village Administrator Dawn Wagner gave the Statement of Public Notice.
Members: Barb Dickmann-present, Dan Sauer-present, David Maglio-present, Mike Krocka-present,
Michael Gielow-present, Joe Caban-present, and Scott Fischer-present
Others Present: Dawn Wagner, Chief Goetz, Lt. Meyer, and Ray deBruijn

CITIZEN COMMENTS AND QUESTIONS
None.
APPROVE MINUTES OF JUNE 20, 2017 MEETING
Gielow/Krocka made a motion to approve the June 20, 2017 minutes as presented. Motion carried.
COMMUNICATIONS
REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT
Dickmann thanked the Village Board members for all that they do for the Village.
REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR
No report.
ORDINANCES – RESOLUTIONS – PETITIONS

REPORTS OF VILLAGE BOARD COMMITTEES
Utility Committee
No report.
Public Works Committee
No report.
Public Safety Committee
Maglio reported on the meeting of July 11, 2017.
The complaint from Beck’s Exxon was reviewed.
Chief Goetz updated the committee on the traffic signals at STH 33 and Foster Drive. He is working with
the DOT on the timing. The item was tabled until September for an update on how the new timing is
working.
Finance Committee
Dickmann reported on the meeting of July 11, 2017.
Gielow/Caban made a motion to approve the expenditure of $5,580.00 from the Police Department
Building Fund for repairs to the HVAC System. Motion carried.
July 11, 2017
Krocka/Maglio made a motion to approve the 2018-19 Intergovernmental Agreement for Building
Inspection Services with the Village of Grafton. Motion carried.
OTHER MATTERS
There are 2 positions open in the Public Works Department. The department is advertising for a seasonal
part-time compost site attendant and a permanent part-time DPW laborer.
The meeting dates for August have been set for August 1st and August 22nd.
On August 22nd there will be a joint meeting with the Port Washington City Council regarding Joint Mental
Health Communities.
Live @ the Triangle is being held on Wednesday, July 12th (Liam Ford Band) and Wednesday, July 26th
(Greg Koch & The Tone Controls). July 26th will be a 10 year anniversary celebration of Live @ the
Triangle. In addition, Vinyl Groove will play on Wednesday, August 16th to make up for the rain-out on
June 28th.
Dates for the Financial Management Planning were discussed.
The 2018 Budget Tour has been set for Tuesday, September 19th.
The 2018 Budget Workshops will be held October 9th, 16th, & 30th @ 6:00 p.m.
REPORTS OF SPECIAL COMMITTEES
Plan Commission
Dickmann reported on the meeting of July 11, 2017.
A recommendation was made to the Village Board to approve an ordinance Amending §205-87 – Signs and
§205-95 – Purpose and Intent - Storage Sheds and Decks.
The August 1st Plan Commission Meeting will include a Public Hearing for U-Haul’s propane
refill/dispensing station.
Lakeshore Regional Child Advocacy Center will only have door decal signage – none on the building.
Community Development Authority/Industrial Review Committee
Gielow reported on the meeting of July 11, 2017.
A Certificate of Compliance and Change of Use for Aquarius Technologies, LLC located at 420 Technology
Way, Suite D was reviewed and approved.
Library Board
Caban reported on the meeting of July 11, 2017.
The Board reviewed and approved a Milwaukee Zoo Pass Utilization Policy.
The 2 part-time positions have been filled.
Friends of the Oscar Grady Library book sale held this year was the 2nd most profitable ever.
Mid-Moraine Municipal Association
The next meeting is scheduled for September.

OPERATOR’S LICENSE APPROVALS
Krocka/Sauer made a motion to approve New Operator License Applications for Davis for Railroad Station
and Johnson and Burmesch for Kwik Trip. Motion carried.
LIQUOR LICENSE APPROVALS
None.
CITIZEN MATTERS AS NOTICED
None.
ADJOURNMENT
Krocka/Sauer made a motion to adjourn to August 1, 2017. Motion carried at 8:07 p.m.
