PUBLIC HEARING – To Hear Comments on a Zoning Ordinance Text Amendment Requested by Village
Staff to Amend § 205-87 to Provide for Review of Sign Permit Applications by the Appropriate Review
Body and to Amend §205-95 to Exclude Certain Accessory Storage Sheds and Decks from Plan Approval
Requirements.
This was a request from staff, as a housekeeping matter, to have sign permits go to the appropriate
reviewing body as there was some inconsistency in the zoning code. Staff also found inconsistencies in the
zoning code related to the accessory structures. The Zoning Code was requiring all sheds and decks to be
approved by the Architectural Review Board instead of being approved by the Building Inspector. The
intent is to keep all of the permit handling uniform with the Grafton Inspection Department.
Sauer/Maglio made a motion to close the public hearing at 8:05 p.m. Roll call vote was taken with all in
favor. Motion carried.
ORDINANCES – RESOLUTIONS – PETITIONS
ORDINANCE #777 Amending §§ 205-87 – Sign Permits and §205-95 Purpose and Intent (Sheds & Decks) of the
