Village President Barb Dickmann called the meeting to order at 6:45 p.m.
Village Clerk Mary Kay Baumann gave the Statement of Public Notice.

Maglio/Fischer made a motion to approve the November 7, 2017 minutes as presented. Motion carried.

PUBLIC HEARING – TO HEAR COMMENTS REGARDING PETITIONS SUBMITTED BY DEANNA M. KEE TO

000, CONSISTING OF APPROXIMATELY 0.367 ACRES FROM I-1 INSTITUTIONAL DISTRICT TO R-3 SINGLE-
FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT AND BY PAULA WENDT TO REZONE THE PARCEL OF LAND OWNED BY
HER ABUTTING 236 S. DRIES STREET, TAX KEY NO. 11-063-24-10-000, CONSISTING OF APPROXIMATELY
0.273 ACRES FROM I-1 INSTITUTIONAL DISTRICT TO R-3 SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT. (6:45
P.M.)
Wagner stated that the Plan Commission reviewed the petitions and made a recommendation for
approval.
Wagner provided a display of the area. The 2 parcels are zoned I-1 Institutional District and all the
surrounding properties are zoned R-3 Single Family Residential. Wagner stated that the requests are being
made by the property owners for various reasons and the changes would be in line with the other
neighboring properties.
Hearing no further comments, Dickmann requested a motion to close the Public Hearing.
Maglio/Sauer made a motion to close the Public Hearing. Roll call vote was taken with all in favor.
Motion carried at 6:46 p.m.

Dickmann reported on the meeting of November 28, 2017.
Claims for October 2017 in the amount of $338,361.48 were reviewed and approved.
November 28, 2017
The Budget Watch and Investment Report were reviewed.
Committee went into Closed Executive Session.
Res. #1267 – 2018 Compensation Schedule was reviewed and recommended to Village Board for approval.
A recommendation was made to the Village Board to approve the Personnel Manual Section 3.09 (AA) –
Police Department – Administrative Assistant/Office Manager Position Description.
Maglio/Caban made a motion to approve the Personnel Manual Section 3.09 (AA) – Police Department –
Administrative Assistant/Office Manager Position Description. Motion carried.
A recommendation was made to the Village Board to approve the Contract for Services – Village
Administrator.
Caban/Maglio made a motion to approve the Contract for Services – Village Administrator. Motion
carried.
OTHER MATTERS
Wagner reported that the Annual Business Forum held at Charter Steel went very well and was
well attended with approximately 40 people from businesses throughout Saukville.
Wagner gave an update regarding security cameras and access control for the Police
Department.
Wagner stated that the Saukville Chamber has several events coming up:
• Annual Holiday Breakfast at Saukville Elementary – December 6th @ 7:00 a.m.
• Saukville Food Pantry Open House Breakfast – December 13th 7:30-9:00 a.m.
• 2017 Ugly Sweater Party & Food Drive @ the Bog – December 13th 5:30-8:30 p.m.

SASS Accounting will be holding a 25th Anniversary Celebration on Thursday, January 18th at the
Saukville Legion. Please let Mary Kay know if you would like to attend.
Ray deBruijn gave an update on the pavilion project at Grady Park.
deBruijn stated that construction of the new pavilion is anticipated for February. The electric
has already been shut off and the gas is scheduled for shut off. The Fire Department is using the
building for practice at this time.
