May 1, 2018 ***VILLAGE BOARD MINUTES*** May 1, 2018 SAUKVILLE MUNICIPAL CENTER 639 E Green Bay Ave SAUKVILLE, WISCONSIN Village President Barb Dickmann called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Village Administrator Dawn Wagner gave the Statement of Public Notice. Members: Barb Dickmann-present, David Maglio-present, Joe Caban-present, Richard Belling- present, Scott Fischer-present, Trevor Seitz-present, and Jim Nowlen-present. Others Present: Dawn Wagner, Chief Goetz, Vicki Lee, Judie Braam and Janice Bloemer,-American Legion, Kerry Lynch-Ozaukee Press, and Gerald Lee. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE CITIZEN COMMENTS AND QUESTIONS None APPROVE MINUTES OF April 17, 2018 MEETING Maglio/Belling made a motion to approve the April 17, 2018 minutes as presented. Motion carried. COMMUNICATIONS REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT Dickmann read a proclamation recognizing Municipal Clerks Week - May 6th-12th, and acknowledged Clerk Mary Kay Baumann for her work. Dickmann read a proclamation recognizing Poppy Day - May 11th. REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR The Community Rivers Program information has been updated on the website and included in the e- newsletter. An email with the information was also sent out to the Village Board. ORDINANCES – RESOLUTIONS – PETITIONS None REPORTS OF VILLAGE BOARD COMMITTEES Utility Committee No report. Public Works Committee No report. Public Safety Committee No report. Finance Committee Meeting cancelled.  May 1, 2018 REPORTS OF SPECIAL COMMITTEES Plan Commission Dickmann reported on the meeting of May 1,, 2018. Minutes from the April 9, 2018 meeting were reviewed and approved. The Certificate of Compliance and Business Plan for Redeemed Christian Church of God-Household of God, 145 W Church Street & 431 S Dries Street, submitted by Pastor Sulaimon O Jimoh, was reviewed and approved. The Certificate of Compliance and Business Plan for C. D. Pressley LLC, 103 S Mill Street, submitted by Christian Presley, was reviewed and approved. The signage for Saukville Elementary School, 333 N Mill Street, submitted by Flyaway Signs, was reviewed and approved. The signage for Fox Bros. Piggly Wiggly, 810 E Green Bay Avenue, submitted by Lauren Herlache- Signarama, was reviewed and approved. The building, site, signage, lighting, parking, storm water, and landscaping plans for the proposed Burger King located at 102 S Foster Drive was reviewed and approved. Construction will begin in June and be completed in October. Community Development Authority/Industrial Review Committee No report. Library Board Next meeting is May 8, 2018. Mid-Moraine Municipal Association No report. OPERATOR’S LICENSE APPROVALS Caban/Fischer made a motion to approve Operator License Application for Moberly and Chapman for Kwik Trip and Manzyuk for Saukville American Legion. Motion carried. LIQUOR LICENSE APPROVALS None CITIZEN MATTERS AS NOTICED None ADJOURNMENT Caban/Fischer made a motion to adjourn.
