June 19, 2018 ***VILLAGE BOARD MINUTES*** June 19, 2018 SAUKVILLE MUNICIPAL CENTER 639 E Green Bay Ave SAUKVILLE, WISCONSIN Village President Barb Dickmann called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. Village Administrator Dawn Wagner gave the Statement of Public Notice. Members: Barb Dickmann-present (via phone), David Maglio-present, Joe Caban-absent, Richard Belling- present, Scott Fischer-present, Trevor Seitz-present, and Jim Nowlen-present. Others Present: Dawn Wagner, Mary Kay Baumann, Michelle Jaeger, Ray deBruijn, Chief Meyer, Officer Woepse, Officer Depies, Officer Eric Ramthun, retired Chief Goetz, Laurie Miske, Cindy Douglas, Skip Douglas, and Helen Galvin. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE CITIZEN COMMENTS AND QUESTIONS None APPROVE MINUTES OF June 5, 2018 MEETING Fischer/Seitz made a motion to approve the June 5, 2018 minutes as presented. Motion carried. COMMUNICATIONS REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT Chief Meyer presented Cindy Douglas with a retirement plaque and gifts showing the Village’s appreciation for her 28 years of dedicated service to the Village as a Crossing Guard. Dickmann thanked Cindy for her years of dedication. REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR Wagner reported that the following meetings would be taking place: • Financial Management Planning August 21st @ 6:00 p.m. • 2019 Budget Tour October 2nd, Finance Committee & Village Board will be that evening • 2019 Budget Workshops October 8th & 15th and October 29th (if needed) • Public Information Meeting (30%) June 21st @ 6:00 p.m. for 2019 Street Projects – Bucktrout/Tower/Church ORDINANCES – RESOLUTIONS – PETITIONS Res. #1277 – 2017 CMAR Report Maglio/Belling made a motion to waive the reading of Res. #1277 – 2017 CMAR Report. Motion carried. Fischer/Nowlen made a motion to approve Res. #1277 – 2017 CMAR Report. Motion carried. Dickmann thanked the Utility Department for all of their hard work.  June 19, 2018 REPORTS OF VILLAGE BOARD COMMITTEES Utility Committee Fischer reported on the meeting of June 19, 2018. The 2017 CMAR Report was reviewed and recommended to the Village Board for approval. Fischer stated that the Utility staff is doing a great job. A demonstration was given of the proposed phosphorus filtering system. The old generator sold at auction for $11,333. Slip lining is scheduled for July 5th. The water tower on Dekora Woods Blvd has been painted and will be back in operation on June 28th. The committee had a tour of the new Well #6 building. Public Works Committee No report. Library Board No report. Mid-Moraine Municipal Association No report. OPERATOR’S LICENSE APPROVALS Maglio/Fischer made a motion to approve the Operator License Renewal Application for Zoske for Rally Time. Motion carried. Seitz/Fischer made a motion to approve the New Operator License Applications for Byrnes for Railroad Station, Sommerfeld for Beck’s Green Bay Ave Mart, and Ciriacks for J’Sports Bar. Motion carried. Maglio/Fischer made a motion to approve the Temporary Operator License Applications for King and Chesak for the Saukville Chamber of Commerce. Motion carried.  June 19, 2018 LIQUOR LICENSE APPROVALS None. CITIZEN MATTERS AS NOTICED None. ADJOURNMENT Nowlen/Belling made a motion to adjourn.
