Village President Barb Dickmann called the meeting to order at 8:08 p.m.
Village Administrator Dawn Wagner gave the Statement of Public Notice.
Members: Barb Dickmann-present, David Maglio-present, Joe Caban-present, Richard Belling- present,
Scott Fischer-present, Trevor Seitz-present, and Jim Nowlen-present.
Others Present: Dawn Wagner, Mary Kay Baumann, Ray deBruijn, Chief Meyer, and Dan Benson-Ozaukee

APPROVE MINUTES OF June 19, 2018 MEETING
Maglio/Fischer made a motion to approve the June 5, 2018 minutes as presented. Motion carried.
COMMUNICATIONS
REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT
Dickmann read a thank you note from retired Police Chief Jeff Goetz.
REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR

Ord. #788 – Sex Offender Residency Section 160 (6-18)
Maglio/Nowlen made a motion to waive the first reading of Ord. #788 – Sex Offender Residency Section
160 (6-18). Motion carried.
Maglio/Caban made a motion to waive the reading of Ord. #788 – Sex Offender Residency Section 160 (6-
18). Motion carried.
Seitz/Maglio made a motion to approve Ord. #788 – Sex Offender Residency Section 160 (6-18) as
presented. Motion carried.

REPORTS OF VILLAGE BOARD COMMITTEES
Utility Committee
No report.
Public Works Committee
No report.
Public Safety Committee
Maglio reported on the meeting of July 24, 2018.
Ord. #788 was reviewed and recommended to the Village Board for approval.
The Police Department has responded to 3,650 calls to date with 3 life-saving events using Narcan.
The Fire Department responded to 12 calls in the last month.
EMS Billing is doing well collecting payments.
Finance Committee
Dickmann reported on the meeting of July 24, 2018.
Claims for May and June were reviewed and approved.
The Budget Watch and Investment Reports for May and June were reviewed.
Committee went into Closed Executive Session with no action being taken.
Other Matters:
An Ordinance relating to the rezoning at 1084 S. Main St. is on the Village Board agenda. That ordinance
was reviewed and approved.
Lee received her Certified Public Finance Administration Certification.
Baumann received a full scholarship to the Annual WMCA Conference to be held in August.
Chief Meyer completed Wisconsin Command College training and received high praise for an outstanding
project.
2019 Budget paperwork has been distributed to the department heads.
The August 21st Finance and Village Board meetings will be held at the Police Department beginning with
Financial Management Planning with Ehlers.
Live @ the Triangle is Wednesday.
The Community Rivers Cleanup is scheduled for this weekend.
Ozaukee Economic Development will hold its annual Economic Forecast Breakfast on September 20th.
National Night Out is being held on Tuesday, August 14th.

Fischer/Nowlen made a motion to approve Operator Licenses for Martinez for J’Sports Bar, Wiese for
Beck’s Green Bay Ave Mart, Franzke, Martin & Wysocki for Tri-Par, Page for Saukville Moose Lodge, Pattee
for Walmart, Seaver, Holcomb, Berna & Egerer for Rally Time, and Wozniak for Walgreens
LIQUOR LICENSE APPROVALS
None.
CITIZEN MATTERS AS NOTICED
None.
