Village President Barb Dickmann called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m.
Village Clerk Mary Kay Baumann gave the Statement of Public Notice.
Members: Barb Dickmann-present, David Maglio-present, Joe Caban-present, Richard Belling- present,
Scott Fischer-present, Trevor Seitz-present, and Jim Nowlen-present.
Others Present: Dawn Wagner, Mary Kay Baumann, Chief Meyer, State Senator Duey Stroebel, State
Representative Robert Brooks, Curt Witynski-League of Wisconsin Municipalities, and
Dan Benson-Ozaukee Press.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
CITIZEN COMMENTS AND QUESTIONS
None.
APPROVE MINUTES OF July 24, 2018 MEETING
Maglio/Fischer made a motion to approve the July 24, 2018 minutes as presented. Motion carried.
COMMUNICATIONS
REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT
Dickmann introduced Curt Witynski, Deputy Director, League of Wisconsin Municipalities.
Witynski stated that there were 8 awards given State-wide for Municipal Champions. He explained the
criteria used to determine who would receive an award.
Witynski stated that Senator Stroebel was the main author in the Senate of the Walgreens Reversal Bill as
well as countless other initiatives that benefited cities & villages. Stroebel was presented with a clock
honoring him as a Municipal Champion.
Witynski stated that Representative Brooks was the main author in the Assembly of the Dark Store
Legislation as well as many other initiatives that benefited cities and villages. Brooks was presented with
a plaque honoring him as a Municipal Champion.
Witynski thanked them both for all the work they do and for working together with the League of
Wisconsin Municipalities and cities and villages in their districts.
Brooks accepted his plaque and added that he appreciates Witynski and the League for their involvement
with cities and villages.
REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR
Wagner reminded everyone of the following events:
• Live @ the Triangle – Wednesday, August 8th @ 7:00 p.m. – Copper Box will be performing.
• National Night Out – Tuesday, August 14th – 5:00 – 9:00 p.m.
• Partisan Primary Election – Tuesday, August 14th - 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. @ the American Legion.

Maglio/Caban made a motion to approve the Operator’s License Application for Erlandson for Railroad
Station. Motion carried.

ADJOURNMENT
Nowlen/Maglio made a motion to adjourn. Motion carried at 8:19 p.m.
