August 21, 2018 ***VILLAGE BOARD MINUTES*** August 21, 2018 SAUKVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT 649 E Green Bay Ave SAUKVILLE, WISCONSIN Village President Barb Dickmann called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. Village Clerk Mary Kay Baumann gave the Statement of Public Notice. Members: Barb Dickmann-present, David Maglio-present, Joe Caban-present, Richard Belling- present, Scott Fischer-present, Trevor Seitz-absent, and Jim Nowlen-present. Others Present: Dawn Wagner, Mary Kay Baumann, Ray deBruijn, Chief Meyer, and Richard Witkowski PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE CITIZEN COMMENTS AND QUESTIONS None. APPROVE MINUTES OF August 21, 2018 MEETING Maglio/Belling made a motion to approve the August 21, 2018 minutes as presented. Motion carried. COMMUNICATIONS REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT Dickmann thanked the Board members for their input during the financial management planning. REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR None. ORDINANCES – RESOLUTIONS – PETITIONS None. REPORTS OF VILLAGE BOARD COMMITTEES Utility Committee No report. Public Works Committee No report. Public Safety Committee No report. Finance Committee Dickmann reported on the meeting of August 21, 2018. Claims for July in the amount of $245,803.11 were reviewed and approved. The Budget Watch and Investment Reports for July were reviewed. Committee went into Closed Executive Session with no action being taken. A recommendation was made to the Village Board to approve a 2 year contract with the Labor Association of Wisconsin (LAW).  August 21, 2018 Maglio/Caban made a motion to approve a 2 year contract with the Labor Association of Wisconsin as presented. Motion carried. Other Matters: The last Live @ the Triangle Concert will be held tomorrow, Wednesday at Veterans Park. The 2019 Budget Tour has been scheduled for Tuesday, October 2nd. REPORTS OF SPECIAL COMMITTEES Plan Commission No report. Community Development Authority/Industrial Review Committee No report. Library Board No report. Mid-Moraine Municipal Association No report. OPERATOR’S LICENSE APPROVALS Caban/Nowlen made a motion to approve Operator Licenses for Karrels for Friends of the Saukville Fire Dept. and Muente for Rally Time Sports Bar LIQUOR LICENSE APPROVALS Fischer/Maglio made a motion to approve a “Class B” Liquor License for D’Klein Inc. d/b/a d’Klein, 301 E Green Bay Ave, Dale Klein, owner contingent on the completed purchase of the establishment scheduled for Friday, August 24th and Plan Commission approval of Change of Use and Certificate of Compliance – Planning & Zoning scheduled for Tuesday, September 4th.
